Monday is when the blanks from Friday get "filled in" by somebody who was being helpful. A helpful guess on glass, drain location, or frame finish becomes the number everyone repeats.
Leave the blank as a blank. Division 8 USA will flag a gap. It will not decorate the gap with a specification you did not write.
Project quotations
A project quotation prices the quantities, finishes, and project location you send. There is no catalog list price. Division 8 USA is a Houston supplier of commercial architectural products for hospitality, multifamily, commercial, student housing, and senior living. The services are specification review, product sourcing, project quotations, procurement coordination, and delivery coordination.
What to send
- Product type, taken from the schedule
- Sizes, and whether they are rough openings or frames
- Quantities and finishes
- Project location
- Anything still open, marked open
What this note will not do
Division 8 USA quotes the package you send. It does not publish a list price, install the work, or invent a missing type.
More on commercial architectural products. The five services are on product sourcing. Send the specification for a project quotation.
Will a missing finish be assumed?
No. Send the finish from the schedule, or mark it open. A guess is not a submittal.
