The five steps

Read the project
Unit count or opening list, finish schedule, and which categories are in scope. Gaps are flagged before a price is guessed.

Select to the documents
Window type, door operation, pan drain, surround pattern, and the other lines are matched to what the drawings already say.

Issue the quotation
Pricing, quantities, and finishes are written for that project. Approval is what releases the order.

Place the order
The confirmed details are what get ordered. A change to size or finish is a revision, not an assumption.

Coordinate delivery
Shipping is set to the project location and to a date the site can take the material. Include that location on the first request.

How does a Division 8 USA quote start?

When is the order placed?
After the quotation is approved. The order follows the confirmed sizes, finishes, and quantities. A later change is a revision.
Who installs the material?
The trades on the project. Division 8 USA coordinates delivery to the project location. It does not install.
