Hinged Shower Doors
A door that swings on hinges, used when the plan shows a swing rather than a track.
A hinged shower door opens on side hinges, usually into the room. It needs a clear swing. It is specified for alcoves and some enclosure returns when the drawings do not call for a slider or a pivot.
Send the hinge side and whether the door swings out. A hinge that conflicts with a vanity or a water closet will not match the plan even if the width is right.

How is a hinged door different from a pivot?
A hinged door swings from side hinges. A pivot door rotates on offset pivots and usually has a smaller apparent swing.
What if the room is tight?
Send the plan. A slider may fit the clearance better, but the quote should follow the specified type unless you ask for an alternate.
